Arrival in Basel. Check-in at a Deluxe 4-star hotel. After a Welcome Drink at the Hotel guided walking tour trough the old city. Whilst the city sightseeing tour extends to the outskirts of Basel, this tour remains within the confines of the 14th Century walls. It takes in picturesque parts of Greater and Lesser Basel. The Rhine promenade in Lesser Basel, The Petersgraben, Nadelberg and Heuberg are of special interest here. The trip on the Rhine ferry is not to be missed. Dinner at restaurant “les Quatres Saisons”, the gourmet restaurant famous for its. creative cuisine based on market-fresh produce.

After late breakfast guided tour to the Basel Paper Mill, the superbly restored medieval Gallician Mill houses, you can not only watch craftsmen at work, but are invited to make your own sheet of paper and print on it. Small lunch at the museum’s restaurant. Drive to the countryside and visit of a vineyard, wine tasting with a typical Swiss farmer snack. Dinner individual.

After breakfast drive to Colmar. Guided city tour with a visit to the Bartholdi Museum, birthplace of sculptor Auguste Bartholdi, creator of the Statue of Liberty and the Lion of Belfort. Lunch in Colmar at “Maison de la tête”, famous for its Alsace specialties. Afterwards drive along the “route du vin” through small and cozy Alsatian villages. Visit of Soultz, a small town displaying in its narrow streets many Renaissance buildings. The day ends with a visit to Monsieur Anthony, where a wide range of cheese together with wines wait to be tasted.

Drive to Freiburg. City-Tour with visit of the famous cathedral in Freiburg. Lunch at the Restaurant “Roter Bären”. In the Afternoon drive by coach to Todtnau, near Freiburg, and visit of the Glass-blowing factory. This black-forest house has a hand-glass-hut, museum, restaurant and souvenir shop. The work is still made with the old tools from 2000 years ago. Afterwards drive back to Basel. Dinner individual.

After breakfast drive to Riehen. Guided visit of the Fondation Beyeler, currently comprising around 175 works, the Beyeler Collection documents a very personal view of modern art and an unerring ability to recognize quality. Lunch at Restaurant Schürmanns, one of the leading restaurants in the area. After lunch drive to Weil am Rhein and guided visit to the Vitra Design Museum which belongs to the world-leading museums of design. After the museums tour visit of a vineyard and wine tasting, you will enjoy the famous „Marktgräfler“ wine and get a good impression how vineyards are built up in Europe. Afterwards drive back to Basel and evening at leisure.

Drive to Lucerne in the heart of Switzerland. Discover the Swiss cuisine by cooking with the Chef Cook Walter Mentner from the Art Deco Hotel Montana. And enjoy a great meal for lunch. City tour and time for shopping. Drive back to Basel. Farewell Dinner; cocktail whilst driving through the city with an oldtimer tram till.
Bruderholz, where dinner will take place at the famous restaurant “Stucki - Bruderholz”. Transfer back to Hotel by tram.
