Arrival at Basel Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in at a four star hotel.
After lunch reception at the famous Christmas shop “Johann Wanner” where an endless selection of hand-made ornaments dazzles the eye.
Subsequently individual stroll through the very famous Christmas Market in Basel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to France (guided). Guided walking tour through Colmar, a picturesque medieval town, stop at the Unterlinden Museum to view the magnificent Issenheim alterpiece. Individual lunch.
En route back to Basel, stop for a wine and „Kougelhopf“ tasting. A must for visitors.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Guided walking tour of Basel’s old city. Individual lunch. Mid-afternoon short walk to the Basel Paper Mill and tour through the superbly restored medieval Gallician Mill houses. Craftsmen at work can be watched and a Christmas sheet of paper produced.
Afterwards at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

After breakfast start for a full day excursion to the Black Forest. The first stop at the “Glasbläserhof” where glass craftsmen can be watched at work. Possibility for shopping in the “Glasbläserhof”. Visit to the “Clock Museum” in Furtwangen.


Individual lunch and a stroll through the tiny little village Titisee, surrounded by one of the most impressive glacier lakes. On the way back stroll through Freiburg, dominated by its Gothic cathedral. Not to be missed is as well the colorful Christmas market.
