Experience a warm and radiant Christmas in Mulhouse!
A city of lights
Already renowned for the quality of their lights, the Historic Centre and the main avenues will really shine out this season. These genuine lit sculptures will guide the steps of walkers and highlight the architecture while bringing life to the building façades.
Birth of a new fabric
Emblematic of its rich industrial past, fabric takes pride of place in the Mulhouse Christmas festivities. Every year, a new Christmas fabric is specially created and will feature golden garlands dotted with fireflies.
Christmas flavours in a prestigious historic setting
Place de la Réunion: the historic heart of the city is home to an impressive Christmas Market that has maintained its authenticity in a prestigious setting. At the foot of the Temple Saint-Etienne, it is lined with the typical and colourful façades of the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall). Fifty illuminated chalets offer a wide choice of high quality crafted products and festive gourmet treats in the spice-scented ambiance of mulled wine.
A Christmas market completely dedicated to children
As the privileged guests of Christmas festivities, children now have their own special Market, nestling in the heart of the Parc Steinbach. In this snowy green setting with its beautiful merry-go-round, the light effects and decorations will create a magical atmostphere. Throughout these four Advent weeks, stories, shows and donkey rides will make this festive period special, not forgetting a visit from Santa Claus... Advent entertainment An allusion to the small windows of the Advent calendar that children open every day to discover a new chocolate: young and old alike will eagerly await Christmas by scrutinising a specially decorated window on the façade of the Hôtel de Ville (City Hall). A facetious character will announce an original family show staged in part of the old town, revealed at the very last minute! |
