Wellness Stars over the Black Forest
Wellness has become a fashioned word which is hardly missing in any hotel or holiday offering. Most of the time it is only used for marketing purposes. But in the Black Forest our guests know what they can expect.
The wellness stars above the Black Forest are glooming brighter than anywhere else. 46 hotels in Baden-Württemberg met the demanding classification criteria, 36 of them being situated in the Black Forest. Most of them obtained four stars, four are belonging to the category of five stars.
Concerning the thermal baths, 15 temples of health nationwide made it to the classification of “Wellness Star thermal baths”, ten out of them with four or five stars are located in the Black Forest. There are also four of nine Medical-Wellness organisations in the holiday region.
Tourismus Marketing GmbH as well as the Heilbäder (spas) und Kurorte Marketing GmbH Baden-Württemberg set up strict criteria. Even in order to obtain only one single wellness star the house needs to be at least a classified three star hotel. A special focus is put on the guests’ comfort within the examination.
